Everyone to the dance floor!!!

This was a FUN one!! Kerry and Matt were married back on March 9, 2013 and held their wedding reception at the Crooked Lake House, Operated by the Old Daley Catering & Events. This was a Vinny Vin kind of reception with tons of dancing and partying! When I met with the Bride & Groom, they expressed how they wanted to create a fun & memorable evening for all their guests……..as you can see from the pics below…..I Killed it! The choice of music the Bride & Groom selected as well as using my professional judgement was the perfect combination that seriously electrified the dance floor!

How to make an Entrance!

When Ryan (my Groom) called me up and said “Hey Vin, can each couple in our bridal party come out to a different song?…..I got something BIG Planned” – Me: Hell yeah, let’s do it! I had no idea what or how, but I knew the when and the why…….well just to give you some background, Shannon (my bride) works for tv land and her husband Ryan Woodle is an actor, NO seriously, he’s an actor…..go check him out here: so when they came up with different TV Show tunes for Introduciton music…I knew it was gonna be Epic! Sorry, I know that word is over used but its the only word that describes this video!

My favorite moment at weddings

Hey everyone! I wanted to share this blog post because I get asked a lot “Vin – what is your favorite thing about weddings?” Well I can never really answer that in one response because there are so many things that I love about weddings! For example: the energy of the room right before I announce the bride and groom in, or the emotions I see on the guests faces when the bride dances with her father……..the laughter from a great toast or the cheers I get when I open the dance floor! But mainly my absolute favorite moment at a wedding is when I can get ALL the guests out the dance floor, young, old and everyone in between……to boogie down to a couple a songs! I’m a true DJ at heart, so I love to get lost in my one of my dance set’s……Look up and see the dance floor packed and then I seize my moment!

This is when i tell the photographer to either grab a chair or get ready cause I ask ALL the guests to face me and “THROW YOUR HANDS UP!!” Its fun, memorable and a great way to capture the fun we had on your wedding night! 2013 Brides and Grooms….Get ready!

Kevin & Paige at The Franklin Plaza

2013 weddings have begun! We started off this year at one of my favorite venues, The Franklin Plaza Ballroom in Troy, NY. Kevin & Paige were an awesome couple who got married back on January 19th in front 180 friends and family! It was a classic winter wedding in which Kevin and Paige designed their reception to be a reflection of who they are as a couple…..FUN!!! It was a dance party the whole night! Kevin & Paige never left the dance floor and neither did their guests!!!

We Started off the night with Intro’s to some Old School Van Halen – Dance the Night Away (great tune!)

Then Kevin & Paige shared their first dance as Husband and Wife to an absolute Classic from the King Himself – Nat King Cole – I love you (for sentimental reasons)

And then the night got interesting……..Kevin surprised his new wife Paige, to a Choreographed dance or FLASH MOB Dance, with his Bridal Party to the Black eyed Peas – I gotta Feeling! It was EPIC TO SAY THE LEAST!

The night took from here and they “danced the night away”!

Up-lighting For Your Wedding

I’m very excited to share this video with everyone!!!
